Castor Oil Wrap Pack

This is an exceptionally nice set of castor oil wraps. The set includes the following items:-STOMACH WRAP-NECK WRAP-2 BREAST PADS-FOOT WRAP-EXTRA COTTON CLOTH-ELASTIC EXTENSION BAND-TRAVEL BAG-WASH BAG-INSTRUCTION GUIDEAll of the wraps and pads are nicely constructed, as is the travel bag and the lingerie style laundry bag. The complete set of wraps and laundry bag fit perfect perfectly inside the travel bag (see photo).I appreciate that the set thoughtfully includes an elastic extension band for those who have a wider waist than the belt will fit without the extension.It is my understanding that the purpose of the castor oil pads is to help with detoxification of different areas including the abdomen and the eyes. I ordered this last summer with intentions of using it myself. However, I have not yet gotten around to using it. This has actually turned out to be fortunate, because I recently learned that one of my good friends is experiencing inflammation and leaky gut issues. Because the packaging specifically mentions these items, I asked her if she would like to have the set. She is very excited about it. I am hoping my procrastination will end up really benefiting my friend.A couple of things to note:1. The pads should be used with virgin cold-pressed castor oil Castor oil is not included, but it is readily available on Amazon.2. The instructions mention using a heated pad to intensify the castor oil’s efficacy, but heat pad is also. not included.Hopefully, my friend will give me some feedback on the set of wraps. If so, I will update my review with any information she shares.

Great set of castor oil wraps.They work well.They do t seep through but I am also careful not to add to much oil.At 29.99 they do seem a but pricey but the quality seems to match the price.

When you open the package for these castor oil wraps, you see luxury. These are quality organic cotton that you can feel, and the construction is with great detail, and lots of wrap options.These are not disposable; they are for longer limited use. They can be machine washed and include a washing bag for this purpose, but the manufacturer suggests for the best integrity of the product that you reuse, and wash as little as possible. They suggest washing every 15-20 uses and replacing around 30 uses – see pictures of the pamphlet.If you compare these to disposable castor oil belly button patches these are not as convenient, or as economical, but these are much bigger and just “more”, more product, more health.The only thing I could not quite figure out with this product is the foot wrap, it is just flat, and I was expecting something more closely resembling a foot, but everything else in the package greatly exceeded my expectations.

These wraps are supposedly made with organic cotton and come pre-shaped for different areas like the liver, stomach, and even breasts. They’re breathable and easy to reuse. If you already use castor oil packs, they’re a great way to make the process less messy. If you like castor oil packs, this is a great starter kit. It has a pack for your abdominal area with a with an extra cotton pad, one for your neck, two rounds for the breast area, and one for your joints or feet. They also include a travel bag, and a bag for washing. I love that trust your gut uses natural unbleached cotton flannel material. The fabric itself is so soft. The packs can all be secured with the attached Velcro. For us smaller waisted girls, this pack may not fit you. My abdominal area goes from the upper area being 27 inches down to about a 30 inches, and I wish this pack could be tighter on me. I definitely have the top of the pack sagging on my upper abdominal area. The packet itself does cover my entire abdomen; I just wish it was tighter. Overall, a decent pack. I do think it is a little pricier than some packs I have seen and have. I wish they would include the measurements of the suggested waste circumference.

I'm not really sure this whole process works. My goals are to reduce general inflammation, improve digestion, and improve lymphatic drainage. That seems like a tall order for a topical treatment, but I'm open minded. I've been using the large abdominal wrap for a couple weeks now and I may just be wasting my time, but it certaiy isn't hurting anything to try. The material is soft and fairly comfortable but I feel like the wrap fits oddly. There's a gap at the top front. I thought maybe it was due to my curvy figure, but looking at the listing photos again it gaps at the top on one of the skinny models, too. I have no idea why that would be helpful if the goal is to contain the messy oil. I really like the zipper pouch that allows for a small heat pack. It doesn't come with one, but I have a gel hot/cold pack that's the perfect size. When it's that time of the month it feels really nice to relax with it in the wrap before bed. I can't say there have been any notable improvements in my body since using this, but many good things take time. I'll report back if anything significant changes.Efficacy of this treatment aside, I'm a bit disappointed in how short a lifespan this product has. I expected these well made washable wraps to be a fairly sustainable choice, but the directions recommend replacing them after only 30 uses or 2 months! I feel like it can probably be used longer, but I sure am curious if there are any valid reasons to replace it so frequently other than the company wanting more money.The bag this set comes with is almost the right size, but i had a hard time getting the large wrap to fit in there. Luckily that's the one I've been using every day so I don't expect to really store it away.It's really hard for me to recommend this product because as yet I have no way of knowing if it's actually helpful. If youre going to use castor oil anyway, I do think these products do a good job containing the mess, but even their instructions recommend you lie down on a towel during use and wear old clothes you don't care about. If you're doing all that anyway, do you actually need these wraps? I'm not sure! If you'd like to try them please do. It's not a lot of money lost if nothing comes from all of this.

I’ve had a lot of different ones from other brands. I continue to be amazed by Trust Your Gut. Such a good quality product. These are a better, softer and thicker material than most packs. The Velcro closures on them are so nice, not the long band that ends up scratching your back when you have to try to balance it and wrap it around all while trying to attach the thin band. This is soft material allllll the way around the body for the liver/abdomen pack. And the Velcro is at the end, wide, strong attachment and covered by cloth so it does not scratch you at all. Also comes with an extra extender Velcro band. Good to use on all of the packs. Comes with instructions, carrying bag, washing type cleaning mesh bag when you have to wash the packs. Comes with an abdomen/liver pack, 2 breast pad packs, 1 thyroid neck wrap and a foot wrap which also I’m able to wrap around my calves, arms, and ankles as well. Comes with one extra flannel pad to use in the abdomen pack. I love the zippered compartment as well on the abdomen pack to be able to insert a microwavable heating pad. I love that they are made from soft, breathable, organic cotton, very gentle on the skin and comfortable to wear..The variety of rap sizes, including for the stomach neck and even breast pad is really convenient for targeting different areas of your body.I'm a little confused that you should replace them in 2 to 3 months to me that would be cost prohibitive... and I'm also not sure about only washing them every 20 to 30 times that you use them... seems like that they would get kind of gross not washing them more regularly...

This has got to be one of my favorite items from Amazon. I was so excited to receive this product. I have gone through 4or5 castor oil packs already, since I use them on my abdomen regularly due to fibroids and feminine issues. This is by far the BEST one, trust me. I love the texture, quality, and skin tone color. This is also made of natural unbleached cotton. Super soft, comfortable, and appropriate sizes. I have never bought a castor oil pack and it came with a wash bag, travel bag, a well detailed user guide, and even an extra flannel for the oil like this one came with.It also has several other wraps you can use/multi use. I imagine you can somehow use the breast one for the knee . Whoever designed this product put alot of thought into it. With how good the quality is, i do wish they made a smaller one for the wrist.

I’m so excited to use these wraps, the quality exceeded my expectations. These are extremely soft and comfortable. They are larger in size so they can be put anywhere! I’m ecstatic about this purchase!

Great quality and comfortable

I warmed a little oil and placed the wrap across my stomach while I was lying on the couch and it felt surprisingly comforting almost like a weighted blanket but lighter and more breathable. The cotton has a soft natural feel that does not irritate my skin and after a while I even tried one across the back of my neck when I had tension from sitting at a desk too long. It held in the warmth nicely and stayed in place without me adjusting every few minutes which I appreciated. On another evening I used one on my feet with socks over it and it gave me this calm heavy relaxed feeling that helped me drift off to sleep faster. The additional pads were a nice addition because they fit well and felt secure without being bulky. I like that I can rinse them out and let them dry overnight so they are ready again and I don’t have to worry about running out quickly.

This is one of the better quality versions of this type of set on the market but it has a lot of limitations.While they do provide you with a rectangular piece of organic cotton that is of the same quality as the organic cotton flannel I cut myself, there is no other organic cotton in the entire set. The inside of the wraps are all some sort of cotton-poly blend that, while soft, is going to be inviting plastic into your bloodstream.I also found that most of the wraps could be tightly adjusted to avoid drips, but the abdomen one is designed in such a way where it puffs out at the top no matter how tightly you fasten it. While that is better than if it were to pouch on the bottom, it's still not great for preventing leaking if you want to move around while doing this.I guess I am old fashioned because I just prefer to put the flannel on my stomach and lay down a towel like the old days. While I will keep and use this set, it will be as an outer protective layer and I was use my own cotton flannel pieces to both apply the castor oil and create a few insulating layers to both help the pouch and separate the oil from any sort of polyester.My other pro tip is to always apply the oil to your body directly rather than the cotton to prevent unnecessary product waste and to reduce the sticky mess left on the cotton.Hope that helps!

Great wraps definitely good quality here. We’ve been hoping to utilize something like this for a while. It was really happy to see the quality was actually pretty helpful. Overall definitely something that exceeded expectations. Got lots of compliments on this when we showed it to friends and family.Pretty easy to clean overall. Good stretchiness too. Definitely a very interesting helper overall. So far so good. Aesthetically looks good. I recommend it. Grateful to have it.

I'm impressed by the large assortment of of different wraps for different body parts. The material is soft and the fit and feel are great, I'm just not sure it's working for me. This was my first time trying castor oil wraps and although I remained optimistic, I'm not noticing any changes or benefits of using them. It's probably just me rather than a reflection of the product itself.

When I first got this I was surprised I could feel the quality of this fabric. The stitching is strong and every item is well made. Its a complete set to cover any spot you are wanting to focus on. It comes with a mesh bag for gentle washing and a storage bag to keep it all together. If you are looking to get started, replace a set this is a nice affordable option. It would also make a great gift.

I’ve used a few different castor oil disposable patches and noticed varying levels of quality and size. When I’m not sure whether a patch will leak, I sleep with a towel over the patch between my clothes to protect my clothes and the bed, but this is far from ideal, so I was really excited to try this set that is meant for using with castor oil. This kit comes with several options (e.g., a wrist/ankle wrap, a neck wrap, breast pads and an abdomen wrap). I really only needed the abdomen wrap, which I’ve been very happy with. It’s very adjustable and even comes with an elastic extender (if you need to make it bigger to fit). There’s also a pocket that you can add the extra cloth/towel in to make it extra absorbent. The kit also comes with a bag for storage and a bag you can use to wash the various pieces in, which I thought was a really nice touch. For me, this is exactly what I was looking for (a backup to disposable patches that I’m not sure if I can trust). The quality of this is really good, so I would be willing to try using it without the disposable patch under it, but I personally don’t want to deal with washing it as often, which is why I’m using it as a back up to the disposable patches.
